When performing hands-on work, the lesson frame is divided up into 2 windows, as shown above. You work in the Linux terminal window (top), while reading explanatory text in the text window. The text guides you along as you explore the rich Linux computing environment.
In this particular screenshot, the student is using the "telnet" program to verify that the Apache web server is active.
