How do I sign up for a course?
To sign up for a course, you simply need to register for and purchase it. You can find a complete list of prices for our courses along with links to purchase them on the registration portion of this website.

How do I access my course?
After purchasing a course, you will be sent a user ID and password, along with detailed instructions for accessing and using the training system. You will log in via a standard web browser on the system access page of this website.

How much time do I have to complete each course?
When you register for training, your user account is assigned a set number of hours to complete each course you're enrolled in. Time assignments are made to be very generous to ensure that you have plenty of time to complete each course, so there is no need to ever feel rushed. However, you should always remember to log out of the system after each training session to make sure that you don't run out of time prematurely. If you ever forget, you will be automatically logged out after an extended period of inactivity. You can check the amount of time left on your account at any time by Account Management page with your applicable User ID number and password.

How do I change my password?
You can change your password and any other user account settings by logging into the Account Management page. To log in, simply use your current user account ID and password. Once logged in, you can click on the various fields to change your password and other settings. To learn more, please visit the system access portion of this website.

How do I get technical support?

How do I get instructional support?
If you need instructional support with a course, you can simply open the "Resources" menu in the courseware browser, and select the option to "Send Email to Teacher". There are also various instructional support email addresses you can use, depending on the specific course you are taking, and you can always contact the support team by sending an email to support@braini.ac

How do I change the font in a course?
Once you access the system, you are free to change the font size, font face, colors, and other features of the training software. To do so, simply open the "Edit" menu in the courseware browser, and select "Edit Student Settings".

How can I jump to different places within a course?
It is very easy to jump around within or between courses using the user-friendly navigation buttons on the main courseware toolbar. For example, tree-style navigation gives you a high-level overview of the organization of each course and allows you to select where you'd like to go. How do I remember my location within a course?
When you first log in, the system places you at the beginning of your course. For subsequent logins, the system will automatically remember where you left off previously, and place you there when you log back in. It is also possible to bookmark parts of a course for easy access at a later time. To learn more about these courseware features, you can refer to the training system demo on this website.

How do I know what score I got on a drill/quiz/exam?
You can check your score at any time by clicking on the score button (percentage sign) in the courseware toolbar. Or you can review the score you've received on all assessment modules you've completed, by logging into the Account Management page. To log in, simply use your current user account ID and password. Once logged in, you can click on the "tracking" field to view your various scores. A complete summary of your scores can also be provided to you upon completion of a course.

How long do I have to complete my course?
For each course, you are assigned a generous number of hours that gives you enough time to complete it. You are free to complete each course at your own leisure, assuming that you don't exceed your total allotted hours. For example, for a 40 hour course, you might work through everything in a single week, or space it out over a number of months, but you only have 40 total hours to complete everything. Please note that extra hours can be assigned as needed due to extraneous circumstances, and current students can also purchase blocks of extra hours at discounted prices.

How do I earn my IT certification?
All IT certification programs require that you take one or more proctored certification exams in order to achieve your actual certification. Our courses work to ensure that you are ready and able to ace these certification exams, but you will still need to go out and take the actual exams in order to earn your certification. It is recommended that you take the certification exam as soon as possible after completing a course, while the material is fresh in your mind. Each course also provides you with a wealth of exam-taking tips and strategies. You can learn more at the certification portion of this website.

How do I sign up for my certification exam?
There are two main exam proctoring companies (Vue and Prometric) that administer the IT certification exams for Cisco, LPI Linux, and many others. You can get complete info and sign up for your exam on their websites, at either www.vue.com or www.prometric.com. It doesn't matter which company you use, as they both offer the same certification exams at the same prices. However, each company maintains testing centers at different locations, so you might want to choose based on which of them has a testing center nearest to you. When will I receive my certification?
After passing a certification exam(s), you will receive all of your documentation, including the official recognition of your achievement. This gets mailed out by the certifying body, and the actual materials vary by program. For example, Cisco mails out an official certificate along with an ID card to recognize anyone who achieves CCNA certification. LPI also provides official ID cards and other privileges to those who achieve their Linux certification.

For how long will my certification remain valid?
This varies by program. The LPI Linux certification remains valid for 10 years. Cisco's certifications generally remain valid for 3 years, after which they can be renewed by taking a simplified renewal exam.
